Direct Reduced Iron
Direct Reduced Iron, abbreviated as DRI, is known as sponge iron. Sponge iron is the result of a reduction process that turns iron ore pellets or ore lumps into a versatile, high-quality metal product.
Direct reduced iron is produced using natural gas or coal-derived gas as a reduction agent. In this way, we facilitate a clean and efficient reduction reaction that result in obtaining sponge iron. This porous metallic texture is the embodiment of purity and strength and has a distinct advantage over traditional iron production methods.
The production of direct reduction unit of the factory is used as an intermediate product in the iron and steelmaking unit of Arfa.
