Direct Reduced Iron

Direct Reduced Iron, abbreviated as DRI, is known as sponge iron. Sponge iron is the result of a reduction process that turns iron ore pellets or ore lumps into a versatile, high-quality metal product.

By using the power of natural gas or coal-derived gas as a reducing agent we facilitate a clean and efficient reduction reaction that leads to the creation of sponge iron. This porous and metallic structure embodies purity and strength and has a distinct advantage over traditional iron production methods.

The production of the direct regeneration unit of the factory is consumed as an intermediate product in the iron and steel making unit of Arfa.
