On Thursday, December 16th 2023, with the presence of Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion and accompanying trade delegation, a key meeting was held in Shiraz to discuss joint investment opportunities between Iran and Oman. This session was organized at the invitation of the Director-General of Industry, Mining, and Trade of Fars Province and took place at Shiraz Chamber of Commerce.
The fact that Arfa iron and steel, as one of the game changers in steel industry of Iran, attended this session with its CEO, consultants, and the engineering deputy indicates its commitment and interest in expanding international cooperation and investment opportunities. Arfa showed interest in cooperation and joint investment with Oman within steel chain sector.
The Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion of Oman and the accompanying delegation warmly welcomed Arfa’s proposals. Also they brought up the importance of holding specialized and technical sessions to enhance collaborations and invited them to hold such sessions in Muscat.
