The Iranian National Steel Festival and Exhibition, held as a distinguished national event in the field of indigenous development of the iron and steel chain, aims at “indigenizing, developing technology, branding and transferring technical knowledge based on the needs of the iron and steel chain.” This prestigious event serves as a platform to converge the needs and capabilities of the Iranian iron and steel chain.
We look forward to your visit to the Arfa Iron and Steel booth at the “Fifth National Steel Festival and Exhibition” from January 9th to 11th at Milad Tower in Tehran.
In this festival, in order to offer opportunities for domestic manufacturing to knowledge-based companies, indigenous developers, domestic industries and mining and steel companies try to enhance cooperation and interactions. The activities are organized into three areas: “Raw Materials and Consumables,” “Parts and Equipment,” and “Research and Development of Technology.” These sections are specifically designed to promote and enhance indigenous development, aligning with the evolving needs of the steel industry.
This three-day festival provides an opportunity to finalize important contracts and agreements between steel and mining companies with domestic manufacturers and knowledge-based companies in the field of indigenization. It is expected that these contracts will result in savings over $150 million across various economic sectors, and these interactions will play a crucial role in development and promotion of the country’s steel industry. Past data also indicates that in the previous four editions of this festival, over 150 indigenization agreements and contracts were signed, resulting in savings over one billion dollars.
